Job summary

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking a Business Operations Manager, Local Media, to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure efficient execution of operational priorities. You will work with Production, Programming, Engineering, Finance, HR, Legal, and other teams to drive process improvements and accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes project management, data governance, dashboards, and budget-related activities within a fast-paced sports/media environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years in operations, PM, or related fields.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and multiple projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining operational processes and docs.
• Experience supporting financial operations including budgeting and procurement.
• Experience preparing presentations and briefing materials for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational initiatives across departments.
• Develop and maintain project plans, trackers, and SOPs.
• Prepare meeting agendas and document decisions for follow-up.
• Maintain records for headcount, contractors, and vendors.
• Administer Airtable dashboards, interfaces, and automations.
• Develop dashboards and recurring reports on priorities and metrics.
• Support department budgeting, invoicing, and procurement processes.
• Oversee billing QC with Finance and Program teams.
• Coordinate recurring department meetings and cross-functional cadences.
• Assist with communications, learning initiatives, and team events.
