Job summary

NBA seeks a Technical Manager, Local Media in Secaucus to lead day-to-day technical operations for Local Media production broadcasts. This role ensures reliable, scalable execution across NBA arenas and the Secaucus facility, guiding freelance Technical Managers and coordinating with engineering and operations teams.

The position requires in-office attendance five days a week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed, supporting preseason games, All-Star, Summer

Responsibilities

• Lead the League's Technical Manager function, coaching and oversight of freelance Technical Managers.
• Coordinate production technology, transmission, routing, monitoring, and distribution workflows for live NBA game productions.
• Serve as primary escalation point during live productions and direct rapid resolution of issues.
• Develop contingency plans, playbooks, and readiness procedures for mission-critical events.
• Oversee post-event reviews, root-cause analyses, and action plans to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with League technical standards and SOPs; manage maintenance windows and upgrades.
