Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul containers between the Ayer rail ramp and customers within a 250-mile radius, with daily home time and a $10,000 bonus. The position offers day-cab equipment and a Monday–Friday schedule with start times between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Expected annual pay ranges from $84,000 to $95,000, with about 1,250 miles per week and detentions/ hazmat pay details as described. Uniforms are required and rail-yard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday shift.
• Willingness to work alternate shift when needed.
• Uniforms required.

Responsibilities

• Haul intermodal containers between the Ayer rail ramp and customers within a 250-mile radius.
• Freight originates or terminates in the Worcester/Ayer area.
• Operate from Lancaster yard with no NYC routes.
• 24/7 operation with shared equipment.
• No riders on board; some rail-yard experience preferred.
