Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule with evening starts and daily home time. Earn approximately $75,000 per year with a $10,000 bonus, paid training, and extra pay for specialty loads and delays.

Expect about 1,500 miles per week on intermodal runs, all no-touch freight, and potential shift transfer after 6 months. Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• DOT Medical Card and clean driving record required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul 100% no-touch freight on intermodal account.
• Transport containers to Chicago rail yards daily.
• Average about 1,500 miles per week.
• Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
