Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Massachusetts is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul containers within a 250-mile radius, with home daily time and a $10,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities include intermodal container freight, staying at the Lancaster yard during off time, and working a Mon-Fri schedule with start times in the 2:00 PM–5:00 PM window. Uniforms are required, and no NYC routes are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
• Ability to work the assigned Monday–Friday shift
• Willingness to work an alternate shift when needed
• Uniforms required
• Some rail-yard experience preferred
• No SAP drivers

Responsibilities

• Haul containers between the Ayer rail ramp and customers within a 250-mile radius.
• Freight originates or terminates in the Worcester/Ayer area.
• No New York City routes.
• 24/7 operation with shared equipment.
• Truck remains at the Lancaster yard during time off.
