Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC in Palo Alto seeks an experienced HVAC Purchasing Specialist to support our growing projects. This full-time role focuses on procurement, supplier relations, and inventory control to keep projects on schedule.

You will issue purchasing orders, coordinate with clients, field staff, project managers, and vendors, and forecast material needs to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC purchasing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing materials and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Local procurement experience and supplier/vendor relationships.

We are a large growing HVAC/Plumbing contractor in Palo Alto that works on many of California’s biggest and best HVAC/Plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are planning to hire California’s best and brightest HVAC Purchasing Specialist in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project documentation, permit applications, issuing purchasing orders.
• Interaction, coordination, and maintain a strong relationship with: clients, communication with, field staff, project managers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Manage and negotiate inventory re-balancing with suppliers, forecast to insure efficient and timely flow of inventory.

Requirements:

• Local
• 5+ years of prior experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing materials and systems.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel).
• Must have great relationship with local suppliers and vendors.
