Job summary

Atomic Transport is seeking CDL A drivers for local, steady work in Greer, SC. Enjoy a predictable schedule with a dedicated local lane, competitive weekly pay, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

You’ll be home every night on a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday runs and 3–4 deliveries per day. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CDLA driving experience.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to work more than 10-hour shifts.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle from transfer stations to landfills.
• Navigate and position trailers on a tipper safely.
• Unhook trailer before tipping load.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
• Report incidents to Operations and Safety Managers.
• Comply with all transportation laws and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle from transfer stations to landfills, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate and position trailers on a tipper safely.
• Unhook trailer before tipping load.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
• Immediately report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations and Safety Managers.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Every Other Saturday.
• 3-4 Runs per day.

Requirements
