Job summary

Atomic Transport is seeking CDL-A drivers for steady, local work with home daily. You’ll haul from transfer stations to landfills using company-owned equipment, with predictable schedules and solid weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CDL-A driving experience.
• Ability to work more than 10-hour shifts.
• Clean driving record with consistent employment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills.
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for tipping, including untarping.
• Unhook trailer and safely complete tipping process.
• Retarp the trailer before leaving the landfill, ensuring no debris remains.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
• Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast we continue to grow and are looking for dependable drivers to support our expanding local routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for safe tipping, including untarping prior to unloading.
• Unhook trailer and safely complete the tipping process.
• Retarp the trailer before leaving the landfill, ensuring no debris is hanging off the trailer.
• Complete pre-and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, along with company safety policies.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday.
• Saturday work based on business needs.
• 3 loadsper day.

Requirements
