Atomic Transport is seeking CDL A drivers for steady, local work. You’ll be home nightly, run short routes from transfer stations to landfills, and receive a predictable weekly pay with modern equipment.

We offer a $1,600 weekly average, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid holidays, vacation time, orientation, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match and health coverage. Schedule is Mon–Fri with occasional Saturday needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent CDLA driving experience.
• Clean driving record; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills.
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for safe tipping.
• Unhook trailer and safely complete tipping process.
• Retarp the trailer after unloading and ensure no debris.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
• Report incidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety.

With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, we continue to grow and are looking for dependable drivers to support our expanding local routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for safe tipping, including untarping prior to unloading.
• Unhook trailer and safely complete the tipping process.
• Retarp the trailer before leaving the landfill, ensuring no debris is hanging off the trailer.
• Complete pre-and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, along with company safety policies.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• Saturday work based on business needs.
• 3 runs per day.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent CDLA driving experience.
• Have consistent employment.
• Be able to work more than 10-hour shifts.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
