Atomic Transport is seeking a CDL A driver for steady, local work with you home every day. The role features a predictable schedule, consistent weekly pay, and a sign-on bonus for joining the team.

We operate a fleet of company-owned equipment and provide benefits including health, dental, and vision, plus a 401(k) plan with company match. Responsibilities include safely hauling loads to landfills from transfer stations, equipment pre-inspection, and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Able to work more than 10-hour shifts.
• Clean driving record with consistent employment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for safe tipping, including untarping prior to unloading.
• Unhook trailer and safely complete the tipping process.
• Retarp the trailer before leaving the landfill, ensuring no debris is hanging off the trailer.
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, along with company safety policies.

We operate a dedicated fleet of company-owned equipment with W2 drivers hauling from local transfer stations to landfills with over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, we continue to grow and are looking for dependable drivers to support our expanding local routes.
