Job summary

Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Local Technician I-III to install, maintain, and service customer equipment including fiber and copper systems, internet, and home networking solutions. You will set up routers, troubleshoot issues, and support customers in a fast-changing technical environment.

This hands-on role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and willingness to learn. Candidates should live within 30 miles of Weatherford, OK and be prepared for on-call work and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair customer services (fiber, copper, internet, TV, etc.).
• Work with aerial and buried cable using proper tools and equipment.
• Set up routers, WiFi, and home networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide excellent customer support.
• Learn and use testing equipment, software, and systems (like iVUE).
• Keep accurate service records and complete daily timesheets.
• Maintain inventory on your company vehicle.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Travel to other service areas as needed.
