Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test telephone and broadband systems in homes/businesses.
• Repair copper and fiber issues and perform installation prework.
• Pull, run, and terminate cables (Cat5, coaxial, twisted pair, optical fiber).
• Troubleshoot broadband and telephone service issues using test equipment.
• Conduct cable splicing and know fiber/telephone color codes.
• Provide preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Subject to on-call duties.
• DC Plant maintenance.
