Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking professional truck drivers for local/regional routes. You’ll securely strap loads, deliver freight accurately, and complete DOT inspections while maintaining safe driving records.

We offer home nightly and weekends, a quarterly sign-on bonus in year one, competitive pay, medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. A valid Class A CDL with 12 months’ tractor-trailer experience is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to secure loads and perform basic trip documentation.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer returns.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.

What You’ll Deliver:

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

How You’ll Deliver:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
