Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily routes in North Carolina. You’ll operate 53ft tractors on local runs, ensuring on-time deliveries and safe handling of materials.

Position offers home daily schedules with nightly shifts (various start times) and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid overtime after 40 hours. Must have a CDL-A and meet state age requirements.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 or 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
• Appropriate endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Thursday-Sunday 9:00pm-7:00am

Friday-Sunday 7:00pm-7:00am

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities and ensuring timely, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 or 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR
• Appropriate additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required)

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
