Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver – Home Daily for local routes. You will operate a 53ft tractor-trailer, ensuring on-time deliveries while adhering to safety standards. This role offers a Monday-Friday evening schedule and home daily.

Pay starts around $29.50/hour with a $1.50 shift differential and overtime after 40 hours per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more. Candidates must be 21+ with a valid CDL A and clean MVR.

Qualifications

• CDL-A driving experience with Class A license.
• Minimum 6 months of CDL experience operating same or similar equipment in last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid CDL A with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53ft tractor and trailer on local routes.
• Handle touch freight as required.
• Drive safely and follow all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate deliveries.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities and ensuring timely, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Drive 53ft tractor and trailer in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid (CDL A) driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
