Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local routes with a home daily schedule. The role operates Sunday through Thursday from 10 PM to 6 AM, offering a competitive pay rate and a full benefits package.

You’ll be responsible for safe, on-time delivery, performing pre-trip inspections, and communicating with dispatch to optimize daily operations. Applicants must have CDL A with at least 6 months experience, be 21+, and maintain a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds).

Responsibilities

• Drive 53’ tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads.
• Touch freight position.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.

Pay rates starting at $29.00 plus $1.50 shift differential per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
