Gray Media, Inc. is seeking a New Local Direct Media Executive at WEEK-TV in Peoria, IL. The role focuses on building new digital and television client relationships, presenting advertising solutions, and driving revenue growth in a highly competitive market.

Ideal candidates are aggressive self-starters with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Training is provided, and prior sales experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willing to learn and master industry-specific software applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new Digital/Television client relationships.
• Contact local direct clients acting as a liaison between the station and the advertising community.
• Make customer-focused sales presentations to obtain advertising time.
• Coordinate internally the purchase of advertising/digital time and schedule placements.
• Develop short and long-range plans for revenue growth and achieve quotas.
• Negotiate advertising rates and coordinate with the creative team.
