Job summary

SupplyHouse in Farmers Branch, TX is hiring a Local Operations Supervisor to oversee local delivery and pickup counter operations. You will lead fleet administration, dispatch, driver management, and on-site counter activities to ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused service.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Final Mile Delivery and requires coordinating routes, ensuring driver availability, maintaining DOT/OSHA standards, and driving process improvements across the local delivery

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environments.
• Experience overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring productivity and quality.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and ability to promote a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm daily routes and ensure Local Delivery Drivers are available to take orders.
• Communicate with drivers while on routes and schedule new orders.
• Supervise routing and dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, registrations, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance and manage DOT/OSHA compliance.
