Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Duncan, SC to load material, deliver to customers or branches, and maintain a safe, efficient delivery process. You will build positive customer relationships and ensure timely, accurate shipments.

The role emphasizes dependability, adherence to instructions, and teamwork while supporting a broad range of material deliveries for our customers and branches.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience with a 20 ft box truck
• Ability to pass the DOT physical
• No prior traffic violations or license suspensions within the last year
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Check material in staging area and load truck
• Create shipping manifests
• Perform truck maintenance inspections
• Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations
• Drive truck defensively to various locations
• Unload and place material where customers request
• Provide good customer service
• Pick up customer returns
• Unload truck of customer returns
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Other duties as required
