Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to load material, deliver to customers or branch locations, and maintain strong customer relationships while upholding reliable delivery service.

The role requires loading the truck, following safety protocols, and ensuring accurate manifests. Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task are essential for timely, professional service.

Qualifications

• Must pass the DOT physical.
• No prior traffic violations or license suspensions within the past year.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• 2 years driving experience with a 20 ft box truck.

Responsibilities

• Check material in staging area and load truck
• Create shipping manifests
• Perform truck maintenance inspections
• Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations
• Drive truck defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations
• Unload and place material where customer requests
• Provide good customer service
• Pick-up customer returns
• Unload truck of customer returns
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
• Other duties as required
