Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to load and check material, then deliver to customers and branches with professionalism. You will help ensure the correct items arrive on time and maintain a reliable delivery service.

You will also build positive customer relationships while following safety guidelines, delivering quality service in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience – 20 ft. box truck
• DOT physical compliance
• No traffic violations or license suspensions in past year
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Check material in staging area and load truck
• Create shipping manifests
• Perform truck maintenance inspections
• Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branches
• Drive defensively and professionally to various locations
• Unload and place material per customer requests
• Provide courteous customer service
• Handle customer returns and unload them from the truck
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Be punctual and work diligently with teammates
• Multitask and prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Other duties as required
