Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to load and deliver materials to customers and branch locations in a reliable and timely manner. You will help create shipping manifests, perform truck checks, and support a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We offer family-friendly benefits and opportunities within the Sonepar group. The role requires 2 years of driving experience and the ability to lift heavy loads daily, with an 7am–4pm schedule and full-time

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience with a 20 ft. box truck.
• Must be able to pass the DOT physical.
• No prior traffic violations or license suspensions within the last year.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Check material in staging area and load truck.
• Create shipping manifests.
• Perform truck maintenance inspections.
• Deliver material to customers and Capital Electric branches.
• Drive defensively and load/unload at multiple locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle returns.
