Job summary

Daikin-Goodman-Manufacturing- is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks and deliver products to customers and branch locations in a timely manner.

You will load, unload, and transfer products, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and support warehouse and front counter tasks as needed. A valid license, clean driving record, and forklift capability are required, with strong customer service skills and safety focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs. driving a commercial vehicle
• Must pass DOT road test and pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
• Background check and clean DMV record (no more than 2 moving violations/accidents in 3 years)
• Valid license with clean driving record and ability to operate a forklift
• Knowledge of safety, routes, and transportation laws

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely
• Maintain logs and reports for DOT compliance
• Secure cargo and perform pre/post vehicle checks
• Operate forklift to move product
• Assist in warehouse and front counter duties as needed
• Follow safety and housekeeping standards
• Work under supervision and perform additional duties as required
