Job summary

Airgas in Davenport, IA is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B). You will load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders to customer sites, and maintain accurate delivery records with signatures.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT/EPA/FMCSA/FDA/OSHA, and occasional warehouse duties. Must have HazMat endorsement, 21+, clean MVR, medical card, and the ability to lift heavy loads; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• HazMat endorsement required.
• One year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last five years, or graduation from an accredited driving school.
• Clean MVR.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs. routinely and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with equipment.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to eight hours and bend frequently.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime if necessary.
