Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. seeks experienced Commercial Electricians for immediate full-time temporary roles on commercial construction and remodel projects in the Lincolnton/Greater Charlotte, NC area. Candidates must have 6,000+ hours and a valid state electrical license.

This 5–8 month assignment offers 40–50 hour weeks, local travel to Greater Charlotte, housing and per diem paid if traveling, medical/dental/vision/401K, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred
• 6,000+ hours of electrician experience
• Valid state Driver’s License
• Current state Electrical Apprentice license (when required)
• Current OSHA 10 certificate
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory
• Understands and applies NEC code knowledge
• Basic understanding of NEC calculations
• Installs raceways, boxes, and cables
• Assist with wire pulling activities
• Installs light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
• Installs panels, breakers, and transformers
• Connects branch circuits including terminations and panels and equipment
• Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics
• Follows safety procedures and quality control processes
