Job summary
Knight Electric, Inc. is actively seeking Commercial Electricians to join our team for projects around Lincolnton and the Greater Charlotte area. This full-time temporary role requires experience in commercial new construction or remodels and offers a 5-8 month project window.
Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience and active state electrical license. Expect 40-50 hour weeks with local travel and comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision and 401K,
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Formal trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
- 6,000+ hours of electrician experience; experience in commercial construction is valued.
- Current state Electrical Apprentice license when required by licensing entity.
- Current OSHA 10 certificate is required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code applications.
- Installs raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers.
- Performs wire pulling and installs light fixtures and devices.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics; follows project plans.
- Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Complies with safety policies and quality standards; works with various control systems.
