Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking Commercial Electricians for commercial projects in the Lincolnton, NC area. This is a full-time temporary role for a 5–8 month project requiring relocation within commuting distance of Lincolnton, NC.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience and licensing, with typical 40–50 hour weeks. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/401K, overtime potential, housing and per diem for travel, paid time off, holiday pay, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
• 6,000+ hours of electrician experience; experience listed on resume.
• Valid state issued Driver’s License.
• Current state Electrical Apprentice license where required by licensing entity.
• Current OSHA 10 certificate and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Install raceways, boxes, and cables and connect branch circuits.
• Install light fixtures, devices, panels, breakers and transformers.
• Assist with wire pulling activities and installation of switchboards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; apply NEC codes.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Maintain safety and adhere to quality control processes.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Formal trade school or apprenticeship completed

Current OSHA 10 certificate

Current state Electrical Apprentice license

Ability to pass a criminal background check
