Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is hiring commercial electricians for projects in the Lincolnton, NC area. This full-time temporary role supports commercial new construction or remodels and requires 6,000+ hours of electrician experience and a valid state electrical license where required.

Local commuting distance is essential. Typical weeks run 40–50 hours with overtime potential. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal trade school or apprentice program completion preferred.
• 6000+ hours electrician experience required (not including school).
• Valid state electrical license when required by licensing entity.
• Current OSHA 10 certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Apply NEC code knowledge and electrical theory on commercial projects.
• Install and connect raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide installations.
• Assist with wire pulling and installation of lighting fixtures and devices.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control on site.
