Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking commercial electricians for a 5-8 month project in the Lincolnton, NC area. This full-time temporary role requires experience in commercial new construction or remodels and 40–50 hour weeks with local commuting distance.

We offer medical/dental/vision/401K, overtime potential, housing and per diem if traveling, PTO, holiday pay, and weekly pay. Must be within commuting distance of Greater Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
• 6,000+ hours of electrician experience required.
• Valid state Driver’s License.
• Current state Electrical Apprentice license when required.
• Current OSHA 10 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Install raceways, boxes, and cables.
• Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates.
• Install panels, breakers, and transformers.
• Connect branch circuits to equipment and terminations.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
