Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to coordinate Nashville jobsite operations and supervise field personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget, while promoting safety.

The role offers a path with a local GC portfolio spanning retail, restaurant, and light-industrial projects, with a strong emphasis on work/life balance and competitive bonuses per project. Based in South Nashville with local project involvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site supervision experience in commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience preferred for projects $1–3M.
• Tenant Improvement and Interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow of ongoing projects in line with schedule and budget.
• Communicate project priorities to subcontractors.
• Identify and problem-solve to maintain project schedule.
• Ensure quality workmanship per plans and specs.
• Create and manage job schedules.
• Supervise final punch list.
• Read and interpret building plans.
• Build positive relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers.
• Promote and implement job site safety.
• Travel within region as needed.
• Projects range from TI to ground-up in various commercial sectors.
