Qualifications

GED or high school diploma or equivalent background.
21 years of age required by FMCSA regulations.
Valid Class A CDL and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
Must meet FMCSA medical exam and road test requirements.
HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV may apply).
Must reside within 75 miles of domicile/work assignment.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment and perform safety functions in various terrains and conditions.
Drive tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA laws.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
Maintain required records for local, state, and federal regulations.
Comply with safety and transportation of hazardous materials.
Assist with dock loading/unloading as needed and provide courteous service.
