Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced Class A driver with Roll Off experience to operate tractors and straight trucks on local routes, delivering 53-foot vans and containers, roll on/off containers, lugger boxes, high and low side-boxes, and flatbeds. Drivers are home each night and must comply with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, cargo securing, maintaining logs, and safe operation on all surfaces.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must pass Physical/Drug Screen and Background.
• Valid Class A Driver’s License.
• 21 years old or older.
• DOT physical and FMCSR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Transport materials to SA Recycling facilities as directed.
• Secure cargo using chains, straps, binders, and tarps.
• Communicate safety or equipment issues to management.
• Maintain logs of work hours and vehicle status.
• Use PPE as required by SA Recycling and material transported.
