Job summary

SA Recycling seeks an experienced Class A driver with Roll Off experience for local routes. You will operate tractor trailers and straight trucks, hauling 53-foot vans, containers and roll-on/off units, with PPE provided and safety rules enforced.

The role requires DOT-compliant pre/post inspections, cargo securing, and daily log maintenance. Valid CDL-A, 21+, FMCSR compliance, and background checks are mandatory. Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must pass physical/drug screen and background check.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Must pass FMCSR physical and DOT requirements.
• 3+ years of tractor trailer or roll-off experience.
• No restrictions operating 10-speed manual.
• Registered in Clearinghouse per FMCSR.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• <= 140 characters

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-trip inspections per DOT.
• Transport and deliver materials to SA Recycling facilities.
• Secure cargo with chains, straps, or tarps.
• Report safety or equipment issues to management.
• Operate safely on all staging areas and roads.
• Maintain logs for hours and vehicle status.
• Use PPE as required by SA Recycling and material type.
