48forty Solutions, LLC is hiring a Local Class A Driver in Douglas, GA. Earn $25.00 per hour plus OT, with weekend time off and home daily. Shift options include 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shifts, operating automatic 53’ trucks for local deliveries and trailer drops within 100 miles.

Must have a CDL-A with at least 1 year of current experience, be 23+, pass a DOT physical, and maintain a clean PSP and driving record. Company benefits and opportunities for growth are included.

Overview

As aLocal Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$25.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am

3rd Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:00am - 5:30pm

4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:30pm - 5:00am

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year




• Must be at least 23 years of age or older




• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle




• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician




• No record of being disqualified to drive




• Successful completion of a DOT road test




• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed




• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years




• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred



• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
