Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Local Class A Driver in Atlanta to perform local deliveries with drop-and-hook duties. You’ll be home daily with no touch freight and earn $23.00 per hour plus overtime.

Position requires 1 year of CDL-A driving within the past year, valid CDL-A, and DOT physical. Reads and writes English proficiently; PSP 10 or lower preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within the past year.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL-A license and ability to read/write/speak English proficiently.
• Must pass a DOT physical and DOT road test.
• No record of disqualification to drive; PSP 10 or below in past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or OTR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; mainly drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles.
• Operate an automatic 53’ truck/dry van.

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 12:00am

1080 S River Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA, 30315

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100mi
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
