48forty Solutions is hiring a CDL Driver in Richmond, VA, offering $28.00/hr with weekends off and home daily. Expect 1st shift, Monday–Friday starting 7:00am, no touch freight, and routes up to 150 miles. You’ll drive an automatic 53’ tractor for 8–10 hours per shift.

Requirements include at least 1 year of CDL-A experience within the past 3 years, and a valid CDL-A, operator license, and DOT physical. Excellent English skills are needed for safety and coordination.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid CDL-A.
• Must pass a DOT physical and have a clean PSP and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles, about 2–5 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic 53’ truck/dry van for 8–10 hour shifts.
