Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is hiring a Local Driver in Walterboro, SC. You will perform local truckload deliveries, mainly drop and hook, and operate an automatic 53' truck within a 100-mile radius. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, with a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and home daily.

Requirements include 1 year CDL-A experience, age 23+, valid CMV license, DOT compliance, and clean PSP and driving record. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and more for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the past year.
• Must be at least 23 years old and legally able to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT physical and road test.
• No disqualifications to drive and no excessive moving violations in 3 years.
• Candidates with logistics, warehouse, or OTR experience are preferred; must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

Overview

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

As a Local Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr., plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!($2,500 paid at 30 days and $2,500 paid at 90 days

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles of Walterboro

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
