Job summary

48forty-Solutions,-LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Local Class A Driver for local routes with no-touch freight and weekend off. You will handle local truckload deliveries, drop-and-hook, and operate an automatic 53’ truck within 100 miles. Must have 1 year CDL-A experience and be 23 or older.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within the past year.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100mi

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test
