Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Local Class A Driver in Winder, GA. You’ll handle local truckload deliveries; drop and hook, and operate an automatic 53’ truck with no touch freight. Earn $22.00–$25.00 per hour with OT, Monday–Friday shifts, and you’ll be home daily.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license is required for this driver role.
• At least 23 years old.
• Must pass a DOT physical and have a valid CDL-A.
• PSP score 10 or below in last 3 years; higher scores reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100mi

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
