48forty Solutions is seeking a Local Class A Driver in Atlanta, GA. This role offers home daily, weekends off, no touch freight, and competitive pay.

You will handle local truckload deliveries, perform drop and hook, and drive an automatic, 53' truck within a 100-mile radius. Requirements include CDL-A, DOT physical, and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Age 23 or older.
• Valid CDL license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• No disqualifications to drive.
• DOT road test completed.
• PSP score of 10 or below in past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics/warehouse/OTR preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$23.00/hr. +OT

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100mi
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
