Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines in Washington state is seeking CDL Class A drivers for local Pick-Up & Delivery routes. You will join a long-standing regional trucking team delivering for customers with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires 21+ years old, Hazmat/Tanker/Double-Triples endorsements, and at least 1 year of verifiable CDL experience. Weekend/nights may be required; benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement options.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Doubles/triples & chaining experience preferred but not required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Clean driving record with no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
• Basic English reading, writing and verbal communication.

• Safely and efficiently operate tractor trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
• Adapt to inclement weather and various road conditions.
• Meet the Company’s reliability standard for employees.
• Chain as needed; ability to work in inclement weather.
• Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
