Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate Class B straight trucks and haul freight across diverse terrains. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, stay compliant with FMCSA regulations, and maintain detailed records.

Hazmat endorsement is recommended but not required. Responsibilities include loading/unloading at docks, safely driving under various weather and road conditions, using in-cab technology, and providing courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL (or Class A) and a clean driving record.
• FMCSA medical exam and road test are required to qualify.
• Registration with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse is required.
• Must be able to work within the United States and be eligible to work.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B CDL Straight Truck to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload freight at docks as required; handle safe material handling.
• Operate in-cab technology and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and the public.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work independently or with a team and adapt to varying schedules and routes.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety standards.
