Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a delivery driver to transport merchandise to customers on a fixed route in Texas. You will unload orders, verify accuracy, and complete end‑of‑day reports while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year of delivery driving, and a Class B CDL is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required with 1+ year of safe commercial driving experience (CDL not specified for class A preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve and prioritize work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise according to pre-determined route.
• Unload correct merchandise and check order, noting any corrections.
• Complete all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of day.
• Communicate with Manager any system or documentation problems identified throughout the day.
• Pick-up returned merchandise per return authorization.
• Comply with all DOT safety and documentation regulations.
• Perform safety and housekeeping duties as per OSHA standards.
• Effectively communicate with customers and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
