Job summary

Sysco in New York seeks a committed Delivery Driver to transport goods from the warehouse to customers, unload as required, and ensure accurate delivery per invoices and standards.

You will operate a Class B vehicle with a CDL, maintain DOT logs, and practice food safety during loading, transit, and storage. Overnight shifts and weekend work may be required, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting/delivery practices.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for reports and safety communication.
• Experience operating a Class B vehicle and performing pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer per route and timelines.
• Unloads product and scans deliveries per store procedures.
• Maintains accurate paperwork, including DOT logs and invoices.
• Ensures food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Develops good customer relations through clear communication and service.
