Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking Mixer Operators to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential sites. Class A or B CDL required; you will be the face of SRM at job sites, ensuring on-time deliveries and professional customer interactions.

You will perform safety inspections, follow DOT/OSHA rules, and coordinate with dispatch. The role offers local routes, daily home time, and opportunities for growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with current DOT Medical Card
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety
• Strong customer service orientation and professional representation of SRM
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs and work in varied weather
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to job sites
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service at each job site and represent SRM professionally
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks for safety
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and SRM safety protocols
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed
