Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Mixer Operator to safely drive and deliver ready mix concrete with a Class A or B CDL. You will be the face of SRM at job sites, delivering quality concrete, maintaining records, and upholding safety standards.

You'll perform pre/post-trip inspections, coordinate with dispatch, and assist with plant or yard duties as needed. Home daily with opportunities for growth and competitive pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
