Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix to commercial and residential sites. If you hold a Class A or B CDL, you’ll be the face of SRM, providing professional service and ensuring on-time deliveries while upholding safety standards.

You’ll load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specs, complete pre- and post-trip checks, and maintain accurate records. Join a team that values reliability, hard work, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with a current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix to job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specs and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each job site while representing SRM Concrete.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
