Job summary

Old Dominion is seeking a Local P&D or City Driver to move freight between service centers and customer locations. You will operate tractor-trailer configurations, load and unload freight, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety, DOT rules, and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL, 12 months of driving experience (or OD training), and the ability to read maps and logs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, safety standards, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Minimum 12 months tractor-trailer experience or completed OD trucking program.
• Must be at least 22 years old and pass orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors-trailers safely per DOT regulations.
• Load/unload freight and secure cargo inside trailers.
• Maintain logs and company documentation accurately.
