Responsibilities

• Master Neighborhood Routes: safely operate residential collection vehicles to service New Bern neighborhoods.
• Keep Communities Green: collect solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste per daily routes.
• Be the Face of GFL: provide courteous, professional service to residents and maintain route quality.
• Prioritize Safety: perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Work as a Team: coordinate with helpers, mechanics, and supervisors to run routes smoothly.
