GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Commercial Driver for Weldon, NC. You will operate frontline collection vehicles on local routes, ensuring timely pickup and friendly resident interactions.

The role emphasizes safety, daily vehicle inspections, and teamwork with helpers and supervisors. Ideal candidates hold a CDL with a clean record and have 1+ years of driving experience or relevant CDL training.

Qualifications

• Possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to operate residential collection vehicles and perform safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate residential collection vehicles (side-loaders, rear-loaders, automated trucks) on local Weldon routes.
• Collect solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste per route sheets.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents and uphold route quality standards.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and road-readiness.
